Congratulations to Elizabeth and Alex! Elizabeth is just the sweetest girl in the whole work and Alex is such a kid at heart that is super excited to start leading a family of his own. Theses are just a few photos that caught my eye in the first run though. More to come soon!

Photostrips

Is this not the cutest idea? You could make them all different or the same. They're created using 5x7 so they're just as cheap as printing a 5x7. You can use these as favors, thank you's, save the dates, etc. Thank you Stacey Bishop for a wonderful idea! (And my sister for some inspiration.)

Calling ALL Models

WOW! This weather is amazing and I am simply dying to try out some new lenses, lighting, and locations. So, I'm again offering a special, where YOU get to benefit!

I'm looking for any models that are looking for a photo shoot. I'm hoping to expand my portfolio, so if it is something I haven't done, your sitting fee is FREE and all you have to do is pay for the prints and/or copyrights. (Don't worry, they're very reasonable and you won't get better printing anywhere else.) So, here are some specifics that I'm looking for, but if you have another idea, just let me know and I'll see what I can do for you; Pets, Maternity, Newborns, Fashion, etc. First come, first serve!

An Epiphany

This is my new favorite thing, now if I can just convince Mike that I need one. What a genius idea? I feel like any female photographer, has to understand the need for this. I'm just hoping this really does hold enough to make it worthwhile. The only other thing, would be finding a contest giving one of these away. I'm almost done with photography purchases for awhile, just a new bag and a body. Then I'll have to hold out for a year or so.

Daylight Savings

I absolutely love the extra day hours.  However, for photography, it means getting up earlier or staying out later to take advantage of the best light.  The evenings are actually better now, but OH, how I love to sleep in!

I can feel the summer months approaching quickly.  I'm excited for some rest and some time to process the past year and what's next.  Meanwhile, the next two months are pretty busy.  I'm looking forward to an engagement session this weekend and a family session next week.  I'm also helping with some fundraising ideas with the school I teach at using photography and I'm happy to serve alongside an incredible team next weekend to honor Lisa Ham and those who have battled cancer.  I'll be posting photos as I finish.
